Doesn't work after 3 years

I bought Bosch because I thought Iwas buying quality. After 3 years of light use, it doesn't work. Spent $300 on repairs, still doesn't work. Bosch customer support sucks, wait on the phone for 10 mins, nothing to indicate I am even in queue. Another brand has gone downhill.

I love the sturdiness of this machine (knock on wood!). I chose it because of Bosch's reputation, the leak sensor, and the promise of quiet operation. Our previous dishwasher leaked invisibly after 7 years (or, I should say, we discovered the leak at about year 7!). The 3rd rack puzzled me at first, but I use it every day for large utensils; and a large cookie sheet fits up there! I can easily hear the TV with it running in our open-plan living space and cannot hear it from the bedroom even though I have notoriously good hearing. I recently bought a Bosch oven because of my great experience with the dishwasher.

Got a lemon

Our Bosch dishwadher was 3 years old in August, 2021. It stopped working Oct 7, 2021. Repairman couldn't come for a month. When he came, his diagnosis was lits of suds in drain pipe. We use Pods and Finish rinse aid, per manual directions. Checked but found nothing stuck in filter. Removed suds. Washing cycle again stopped after partial cycle with Error code 25. Week latercrepairman returned and ordered a new pump. Two weeks later new pump installed. Problem persisted. Dishwasher stopped after 35 minutes with same error code. Repairman returned a week later. Spent a couple hours checking it and decided maybe "new pump" was defective. Ordered second new pump. Not here yet. By the time we pay for service calls we coukd buy a new dishwasher, which we may have to do anyway. I loved the dishwasher when it was in good working order. But this us ridiculous.

Faulty powerboard $553; Faulty Circ. pump $473

I didn't expect to need a new $553 powerboard in 2 years andnew $500 circulation pump in less than 3 years. Over $1053 in less than 3 years. $150 more than a new Bosch dishwasher. Now an error message that needs a service call

Great, but cheap drain hose

I've had this machine 2 years and it's done great overall, except for some wine glasses that got slightly cloudy although that may have been due to detergent. Also, the ECO mode does not clean well. It's very quiet compare to my last machine (LG). The weak link of this otherwise nice machine is the flimsiness of the drain hose. It developed 2 pinhole leaks that spread water on the floor--again this machine is not even 2 years old! I bought Bosch becasue of the durability! Some more rugged flexible hose material would be nice.

I have had it with Bosch dishwashers

We bought our first Bosch when we built our house in 2001. We replaced it in 2009. Thought it should have lasted longer but bought another Bosch anyway. Nov 2018 we replaced it again. Sales person said Bosch products are great but the electronics don't last all that long. April 2019 we discover it was leaking due to a faulty part. Was replaced by the retailer. Now it's Oct 2020 and the pump has gone out on this pretty new diswasher. No more Bosch. It will cost us $350 to get it repaired. Shoulda bought a cheapy. Saved money up front and probably would still be running
